Dieting has consumed my life for over 20 years. I would try one diet, and then another and another, only to be faced with losing & gaining the weight back, over and over again. I had my good days of being comfortable with the way I looked and felt, as well as peaks of unbearable times where I could not even look at myself in the mirror. I desired change, but never seemed to choose what seemed like the right path.
In September of 2012 I started training at Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts in Paramus. At that time, I was at one of my worst, all time highest weight of 244lbs. In late January 2013, INMOTION Meals owner Ben Hoffman came to our Paramus Mixed Martial Arts school to do a nutrition presentation for our upcoming 60-Day Challenge program. I remember Ben speaking about how we all struggle to find the right diet and workout program to fit our lifestyle, and one we could adapt and turn into a lifestyle. Hearing this was music to my ears….it was exactly what I was looking to achieve.
The way Ben presented his program, and the examples he used to describe how to become successful by following basic rules like keeping your “fire” (= metabolism) burning at the right level at all times, made so much sense to me. I kept on asking questions throughout the presentation and decided to place my first order of his INMOTION Meals right away, prior to starting the 60-Day challenge in February. I lost 11lbs during the first two weeks (!) just by showing up to class three times a week and eating solely the INMOTION Meals, as well as following Ben’s guidance. Blown away with my success, I took upon myself to commit 110% into the challenge and put in 5 classes per week. I was losing steadily every week, averaging 2-3lbs per week. I continued to train hard throughout the 60-Day challenge. Not only was I the “biggest loser” by the end of the challenge, with a 24Lbs loss in 60 days, but also came in first place for the challenge overall, with the most dramatic change based on the before and after pictures. None of that would have been possible without sticking to the nutrition program I followed.
As an athlete doing all types of sports for many years, I have learned that while working out keeps you “in shape”, the way to succeed in losing weight and tone your body up is by adopting a healthy lifestyle and eating right. For a year now, since I first placed my INMOTION Meals order, I never stopped. I made a commitment to keeping a healthy lifestyle using INMOTION Meals and I love it! The meals are delicious, well balanced and give me the energy I need to keep up with my busy schedule and workouts, while eating a meal every 3-4 hours. A year later, I am still maintaining my weight, and am grateful for having the opportunity to meet Ben and follow this program and healthy lifestyle for as long as I have. I have recommended INMOTION Meals to some of my friends and sport colleagues and will continue to do so in the future.
